a world that superficially resembles human depictions of hell.
the sun here functions identically to ours, but from time to time shines a looming and forboding red. it's just a thing it does, it hasn't really lead to anything other than people freaking out over seeing it do that for the first time.
sometimes the clouds are purple from the lights cast onto them, no doubt due to the people living on the airships.
also, there's a lot of tar pits for some reason.
